seeing water as data, and data as water

Born in Singapore, Rigel creates high end bathroom fittings and accessories. Working across residential, hospitality and retails landscapes you can find Rigel bathrooms across many of nations malls and hotels - including the world renowned Changi Airport.

Their key differentiator is technology. From taps to toilets and from shower heads to flush systems, Rigel integrates cutting edge technology into beautifully designed fixtures and fittings helping to reduce, and manage, water consumption

Their unique approach led to a positioning of AdvanceLiving - where we see technology at the heart of the bathroom. This inspired us to develop generative tool, which created a digital, graphic representation of water as if it were data. The tool, which we built as a desktop application, enables Rigel to generate an infinite number of still, and animated graphic backgrounds to form the foundation for a variety of branded collateral. We crafted an identity system around this graphic, including a new logo using a water droplet and 3 data points to form a distinctive mark.
