I’m Andy, a designer, creative director, writer and father of two monsters and one poodle.
When I was a kid I loved to doodle. This compulsion steered me clear of a career in academia and into one of creativity where I began my professional(ish) life in London as a graphic designer. Since then, I’ve lived in South America, Dubai, Hong Kong and now Singapore working across a broad spectrum of disciplines and industries to help businesses thrive through creativity.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked with some amazing people in some crazy places, and some crazy people in some amazing places - all of which has contributed to my work (and opinions) being published on various platforms and recognised at award shows such as D&AD, Cannes Lions and the Webby’s. I’ve also been on the Jury for many of those shows and spoken at conferences and universities on a wide range of topics around creativity and design.
I believe creativity and play are inseparable, with the best work born of the latter. I thrive in being hands on, writing stories and designing identity systems, as much as I enjoy nurturing young creatives and helping them to realise their potential.
Finally, I love passionate people, simple pleasures, and creativity that makes me jealous. And surfing. I really like surfing.
